Vignetten AT Guide was founded with the aim of providing travellers and commuters in Austria with clear, understandable and up-to-date information about the motorway vignette. We believe that every road user has the right to fully understand their obligations and rights on the road.
Our information service is aimed at both Austrian citizens and foreign visitors who wish to use Austrian motorways. We explain complex regulations in plain language and keep our content up to date with the latest legislation.
We are not an official body of ASFINAG or any government authority, but an independent information service. Our content is based on publicly available sources and is regularly reviewed by specialists.

History
2018 – Foundation
Vignetten AT Guide was established as a small information project after many travellers struggled to find reliable information about the Austrian vignette.
2020 – Expanded Coverage
Introduction of detailed guides on route tolls, special tolls and cross-border journeys. Development of a multilingual editorial team.
2022 – Digital Vignette
With the introduction of the e-vignette by ASFINAG, we comprehensively updated our content and created new guides for digital purchasing.
2024 – Relaunch
Complete redesign of the website with improved navigation, current price tables and an expanded FAQ section.
